Silverthorne's Blue River Festival is a free community event for all ages to learn about the Blue's ecosystem, and also to celebrate the recreational opportunities it provides.

This year's Festival will take place Sunday, September 12, 2010. Events include a fishing derby, fun run/walk, picnic and live music on the Pavilion lawn:

Fishing Derby - 7 a.m. to Noon

Fun Run / Walk - 11 a.m.

Picnic - 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
